HOT SPRINGS — The Hot Springs Board of Directors held its retreat on Friday, February 17 at the Forest Lakes Clubhouse. The board reached consensus on the following eight two-year goals, which will also serve as the city’s priorities. Staff will align projects and budgetary decisions over the next two years to meet these objectives. The goals are as follows:
- Continue planning for redevelopment of the Majestic property
- Complete the radio communication system improvement project
- Finalize and design water supply agreements and infrastructure facilities
- Design and initiate wastewater treatment plant Improvements
- Enhance neighborhood services
- Implement downtown plan/parking authority
- Improve rights-of-way management practices
- Advance the Northwoods project
